Randomly found some pictures i took of the bluebird i purchased of an elderly lady, i didn't have it very long as a few things happened in life which meant i had to get shot of it. Was MINT though and i was so gutted to have to get rid of it.. Anyway nostalgic moment over and done with .... Ginge

They're great cars, only bought mine because it was cheap but now I love it. Never going to be a performance car but nice and relaxing with incredibly comfy seats. Now old enough to get the "haven't seen one of those in a while" type comments as well

My old hatch from about 2 years ago. It spat a plug out after somebody didn't tighten it down properly lol. Awesome machine. Gave me about a year of transport, including Winter, for virtually nowt. It use to let in water, which really irritated me, but they all do apparantly.

Really? None of the four I've had have leaked! Great motors though. Nothing particularly special but easy to live with and pretty much trouble free. That red 'un looks a real honey.

It use to let in water, which really irritated me, but they all do apparantly. Mine only does via the sunroof, but it's not constant. Its taken some abuse as well, roughly thrown around, driven into things, ploughing through a foot and half of snow, a 750 mile round trip to Devon and back in a day, never any problems other than (funnily enough) a loose plug. Its been laid up on my drive for a year, but I reckon it still starts.

I don't know what it is with the cars from that period but seems to be a problem for them. Bluebirds and Laurels seemed to be the worst for it. Even my imported Terrrano R3M did it pretty bad. The small cars like Cherrys seem less prone though.

I had a zx turbo coupe about 11 years ago which cost about £150, it was a lot of fun and went really well but the gearbox went on it so it got left at the side of a road and then towed away. Shame really because it was straight, solid and a great runner but when your young and foolish you do stupid things, I wouldn't say no to another tho if one popped up at the right price at the right time though
