Yet another letter from the council has turned up, I have untill end of november to comply or will be facing court actions. looks like east dorset cc, wish to use up mine and everyone elses council tax, but I cant afford to fight it. However I can have tools, welders and the like, my mig has died so this is a good starting point on my wants. single phase only. I could also do with a luton van for use on road and as a store to keep prying eyes away. I have put prices on as a vague guide to the value of the swaps, I will in course try to list some cars in the forsale section in the correct maner i'll give it a week or two, and then unfortunately I think I will have to get skip in. i'm losing the fight. business isn't good enough for me to appeal the councils descision through the courts. 1976 Peugeot 204 Estate £300 1975 Triumph Toledo £250 1978 Triumph Dolomite £350 1986 Astra mk2 GTE £350 1986 Ford Orion, 1995 Ford fiesta si Daimler 420 Sovereign SOLD to Cornish JAG SOLD 1999 Jaguar Stype £450 Eagle RV Jeep 2 shellls, one chassis 2 2.0l pintos £450 correct log book! citroen bx gti £300 Volkswagen Estate 1994 £250 Dodge 350 Ram £500 Fiat uno, various projects £150 each Volvo 240 estate £600 Honda CRX mk1 1987 unbeliveably solid £ 500

Not really other than no tax or test and its been sat idle for over a year. would need tyres for mot, and i suspect a service, as can be little lumpy when first started, soon clears, suspect little more than plugs as no lights on dash. what lets it down is its passenger side which needs paint as its been attcked with a DA, didn't bother me as intended to satin black it and run it with a set of banded transit connect steels, as well as the obligitory chop. don't want it to go to scrap or bangers, both of which have firm offers for. BenHancock the orion is a 1600cc ghia, it is on the whole solid, has had plate on sill in past and not pretty. mot standard! and the inner wings have had plates. battery tray is good though. i Have a full set of mk3 escort inners and wings i intended to fit to series 1 it. only minor fault is starter solenoid iffy. that said it would soon go through an mot with nest to no work. curlie467 Toledo is great, pretty good bodily. mechanically excelent, interior is here, but cerrently not fitted, needs a clutch slave cylinder and a fuel tank. tank had done the usual and pinholed in the well. i used a stainless race tank as used to drive it to auto tests and treasure hunts.

Nutroast its a 8 Valve, wouldn't consider selling a 16v as low as that, have done in past though. should be picking up a 2.0l 8 valve imrsher lump this week for it too. Dave Edge, its not running, and should be considered a project. however other than a sunroof its very very solid, and never been bodged or welded either. comes with a spare brown top engine and box. It does turn over and certainly would be running in no time. have loads of panels too. if you want nice original one, be hard pushed to find one like this. If you want one on road, and tbh at a ridiculously low price look in the Car Classified section. retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=FSW&action=display&thread=113846Its a Bargain

have quite a few mk3 escort panels. wings floor repair panels. then some used headlights switches etc.
I want 250 each for them.
the si has a tappy engine, suspected little ends, it however is pretty tidy car with low mileage, actual figure escapes me. i do have a 130bhp Rs1800 engine, ecu and Gbox which would repair it. plus 1.5 sets of RS arches spare tailgates bonnets bumpers doors etc.
No cortinas i'm afraid got rid of my grannys and tinas years ago even then banger boys paid silly money. do have the Eagle though that is Cortina Based

Love the Volvo...
Sooo tempted by the Daimler, i seem to remember asking about it before, the interior's scrap right? will it start and run, drive? is it manual or auto, might just be able to come to a deal on this....

Daimler is Provisionally sold. answers are NO NO NO and auto! I think it was always going to go quick. price was only matching the bangers price. and when you add the fact its a solid shell, stainless exhausts, rebuilt front and reas subframes, good chrome work. and a 4.2 xk lump with 3 carb manifold. last one of those I sold made only shade under this price for whole lot on ebay couple of months ago I guess i'll get left with what people don't want, but space is this isssue so anything gone is an improvement. a welder will take up far less space but I suppose if get cash can go out and buy one. I have so much more to get rid of; Lexus LS400 Lump in a completely stripped Donor. still runs and drives sweet Ideal for Conversions A 7.5t Renault Midliner Recovery Truck. Mot exempt, bit of an old dog, but runs and drives great, recently drove back from middlesborough. certainly needs work though. apologies for poor pictures, have a couple of tonne or hardcore protecting it and the orion from theft. Rangerover Classic. pretty much complete but a breaker! Diahatsu Fourtrack 2.8td on hilux 2y Axles probably have to split these to sell and scrap the remainder A GT40 Chassis, built for a Renault 1UN, pretty much as close to the real thing as you can get, proper mk3 shell basically cut up a perfectly good kva and remade it correct. unfortunately missing Doors, but GTD or KVA ones should fit. got a few correct ish 2 axle rigid body 5.2 or 7.3 logbooks! a 1970s Single Seater rolling Chassis possibly a maclaren but would have to check, bought as the donor for the gt40 as had a change of heart and decided to Source a Correct ZF Box complete with the proper top lugs. again would probably have to spit as this box is probably worth about 5k so will have to go to a specialist publication I suspect. that said the single seater would probaly provide someone with a bargain. proper willwood brakes, pedal box, lovely quick rack. Proper coilover suspension. race tank. Detomaso belhousing around somewhere whith flywheel and clutch, and a inlet manifold. all were surplus as that was a twin supercharged monster. in retrospect probably should have kept it as a donor for the gt40 A car with MOT! has to be a First 1998 S Reg Jeep Grand Cherokee. 4.0l £700 What else, well i'm sure there is more to come. Pretty much all that is staying is my 190e and other peoples cars Life can Suck at times, someone cheer me up soon. here is pic of my issue

volvo runs and drives ok i suppose, just its original 2.0l manual. spent lot of time measuring up the lexus v8 for it. but a rover would be the easy solution. it could do with another bonnet making and a hinge as it has seized, and an exhaust its certainly a project. but if anthing has to stay, hopefully its this

10MPG here we go; Pics speak louder than words. as i said its been built to take a 1un, and ideally mounted to a windsor v8, i've sold all the engines we had for this but it will take any v8, there is plenty of room. How about a lexus v8, bolted up to a 1un. pretty easy to adapt it to fit any transaxle combo you like. It did have a screen, but it was cracked, was an original gt one. unfortunately it then flew off down a31 and got flattened. easy enough to source though, kva or gtd one should do the job. It obviously needs a lot of work to complete, but its an ideal base for you to start to build a very nice replica, Chassis is very light and strong. easy 2 man lift. just have to face i will never have the funds to complete
