This blows my mind. Look how much the Yellowbird's fighting the driver, it's like it hates him! I don't think it hates him as much as you think. The man is showboating, with early turn in then giving it the beans. I suppose with getting on for 500 horsepower oversteer is going to be the order of the day though.... ;D excellent video and a fantastic car.

Not a Yellow bird, but as understated, cars go this is it! Chassis no 001 Ruf BTR. Its got silly wheels that we can't find replacements for anywhere, one has a crack and been welded. I think it was a bargain a few years ago at 16k. Its done 250k kms though so its not a treasured car, its been used and abused. It does like to bite, but no worse than a standard 911. Some how it was putting out 543 hp. as a daily this was considered excessive so has been turned down. engine is pretty much race spec, so for sake of not having to rebuild every year it now runs very low boost. still bloody quick. few Rufs in and around london area, seems a hot spot for them!

That is just the driving style that is require to kill the understeer in a car where the engine is in the worst possible place! It takes a very brave man to drive an air cooled Porsche flat out. Unbelievable car.... 'its all wrong, but we'll counter that with a bucket load of power, sorry if it kills you', what an attitude.
