I think I have fallen out of the relms of retroness with my latest purchase. After the last few cars, Datsun Cherry, MG Montego, Cav Sportshatch and a 78 Transit I fancied something with a few mod cons and some power. Came across this 91 Lexus Soarer and thought that's a lot of car for £700!! so bought it. Its got lots of leather lovelyness, air suspension, electric everything, and a 4.0 litre V8. I pick it up on Thursday and may be selling on Friday due to lack of retroness, we will see. ;D I know, if I was braver I would have bought a Jag.... A couple of pics from the ad

Do this: ...or this: ...or this: and you'll be my hero. Soarers are awesome, I thought about buying one a few years back and kinda wish I had (offered a lovely V8 with great spec and stunning condition on beautiful rims for not very much) I still think today that it would have been a great car to own. You'd be a fool to sell it. Please make it awesome!

I don't care if it isnt retro enough, I still love them. I think it was these that you could buy one brand new in 1991 with sat nav built in to the dash.

These are borderline retro for me, but the rear lights tip it into retro territory just enough, rather like the fat-arsed Honda Prelude of similar vintage.

Same stud pattern as Aussie Ford Falcons and, I presume, their American cousins. I thought one of these on 16x10 Performance Challengers (Bathurst Globe copy) would be the absolute business

I definitley think they need a kit, or a big splitter. Cool cars though.

Nearly bought one, but ended up with an Celsior with the same engine instead. Does it for me. Oh and I think there is an Aussie firm that does a hack in controller for the air suspension to allow it to be manually height adjusted.

I love Soarers, would love to rock one about. Was close to buying a V8 one about a year ago, but I got scared of the suspension, plus the auto box put me off.

I like these, they really don't look like a 20 year old car though. No wonder one could be mistaken for thinking they lacked retro.
