It looks like Mitsubishi had a bit of a fixation with flat top rear arches in the 80's. Cordia ] That takes me back! Remember my dad having one of these when I was a kid, 4 speed + overdrive I'll throw another DS in too, just because they're awesome.

Never really thought of this till seeing this thread and then noted my car has quite a significant flat top on the rear

I think this is more what I had in mind when starting the thread. Lots of cars have flat topped arches as the last few pages have proven but this is the shape I always think of when I think flat top. I'm frankly amazed at just how popular a choice flat tops are, I thought this might generate one or two interesting examples but there's bucketloads of them.

Got to be a Nash Rambler thought I, but then I spotted VND's post. Drat!, have this instead: The Phantom Corsair. Pretty flat don't you think? Or how about this? Slightly more achievable: Saab 92
