I'm struggling to find a set of DB7 alloys for the Jag.
It's a 1992 4.0l XJ40 sovereign.
Does any one know the PCD or what other makes of vehicles wheels will fit?

Jag is 5x4.75" which is often used on chevys. Which is also very close to BMW 5x120mm (its actually 5x120.6). Possibly close enough to not worry, and certainly wobble boltable.

.6mm is nothing. its like .3mm per stud? Factory tolerance on older wheels will be wider than that, especially with some wear and use. Use the correct nuts to fit the wheels assuming they are right for the stock studs...
Jag pattern is about the most common thing out there
Jaguar/Daimler (except some modern ones) BMW Vauxhall Ventora FE, VX 4/90 and some big Opels Chevrolet Oldsmobile (A, X & some B body) Pontiac except larger wagons etc. Buick A, X body Holden Some GMC light duty vehicles
And others...
And of course any aftermarket wheels designed to fit the above.
Assuming centrebore and offset are OK.

best wheels on a xj40 are the 5 spoke xjr 18" wheels just like a giant freelander rim. however as you say aston fits but look for some Gottis of a early amv8 they are 16" but are gorgeous!

Beware of massive tramlining if you fit the 18" XJR rims though. I've got an early XJR with the 17"s and that tramlines like... a tram. All the geometry is perfect on mine (expensively perfect..) and it still likes sitting in ruts on the motorway.

I've got a set of 15 x 6" KN Geminis in 5 x 120 flavour if you're interested. Had no luck selling them.

I saw the aston rims and by the time i refurb them and get some good tyres fitted I'm looking at over £1000. It's more than the car cost me in the first place! The deal didn't seem right to me so thats why i passed on them.

Yeah E39 wheels fit XJ40s, but not so much other BMWs because of the centrebore (Jag is 73.8mm centrebore, most BMWs are 72.56mm, E39s are 74.1mm). You can get centrebores machined out if you need to though.
As others have said, 5x120 is within the manufacturing tolerances of 5x120.65 wheels.
I'm a basketweave man myself for XJ40s, and have picked up a set of Japan Racing JR9s which look similar to the 16" optional lattices, just in 17" instead. Not got them fitted yet, but they sat fine. 74.1mm centrebore.
