A nail gun and impact wrench use a massive amount of air volume so you should be looking at a PTO operated proper compressor as a air con compressor won't supply anywhere near enough. It's not pressure you need but volume. Sorry but you are going to be very dissapointed with an air con compressor. Paul H Sorry to disagree but a decent nail gun doesn't need a big compressor, we've a framing nailer at work that runs from its own small compressor- its about the size of a suitcase generator with a tank size of about 1 gallon(ish) I'm going by my own framing nail gun (3" nail capacity) that needs over 10 cfm of air. Paul H Just been trying to find the spec's on what we use. I can find the images but no details on air consumption. Compressor runs up every 3 or 4 nails As you can see it's only a little tank But to be honest I mainly find it easier to use a paslode;) I guess all the guns probably vary in their requirements.
