aagh noticed photobucket has blocked all my pictures? whats that all about? will have to get onto that opened a new account in order to bring you a small update: not much been happening over the last month due to christmas and work and funds ect. so a few bits on the cheap: after a long (read a few weeks) degreasing in a bucket of gunk, i cleaned up the 5k pistons today, ready for new rings . and heres the result: also been meaning to get the sump cleaned up ready for a lick of paint. the one that came with teh 5k lump is a bit worse for wear, and a little dented. not leaks or holes, so untill i can source a replacement, it will have to do. got it all nice, the couldnt find my brushes! so this will have to wait for a paint: untill next time

in an attempt to try and keep this updated, i thought i show these: purchased from baron, after he broke his project up: these are remanufactured rear springs for the kp. and allso 25% uprated, as they were rally destined i belive. these are absolutley superb, mine are starting to show thier age so to get hold of these was brilliant. along with some other parts i purchased from him, this will prove most valuable to the build.

just alittle update to keep the thread bumped, and show people i havent lost interest in this, unfortunately the daily is taking up a lot of my time (and money) lately. just lobbed a bit of paint on the sump, after a bit of a lick with the wire wheel. think it looks good. hopefully if all goes to plan, ill have a better update tommorow.

ok so a little bit of progress, well now the good weathers here, i decided to crack on with the starlet. ive been meaning to do something on this for a wjile. although having a cold unlit, unpowered garage has put a halt to this. you may recall i had some wings brought over from holland. well ive finnaly got around to patchiong them up. and trying to make good from the donor wings i had with the car. tbh, I'm a bit knackered from sitting in the sun all day, hacking, cutting, welding, trimming, filling and flatting...ect. so il let the pictures tell this story. towards the end of the day i was loosing the enthusiasm, so the wing was put away for another day, to be made a bit better. although i now have one rust free passenger wing. this car is never meant to be a show winner. its going to be used and abused like s good classic should. so the paint is the least of my worries. thanks for reading.
