The culprit is a 1990 VW Jetta 1.6.
Heyup Guys
The jetta is really starting to curse word me off with how much bad luck i seem to have with it, any help would be much appreciated, the problem started when GSF sold me a faulty brake master cyliner which leaked fluid inside my Brake servo, ive been back down and they have swapped it over for a different master cylinder, then i came to remove the brake servo to get the fluid out so i could then put the new master cylinder on, connect the brake pipes and crack on with bleeding the brakes, only theres a problem, ive put the servo back in how it came out not touched anything, literally unbolt drain fluid, bolt back up.. all lines up, blots back upto the bulkhead nice and snug/secure how it should, all i thought was well untill i came to connect my pedal back onto the master cylinder with the pin and clip... heres some pics to better explain....
Leak.
The pedal wont move/spring far enough forward, so when i connect it to the pedal with the pin my brake lights stay on and the rod out of the servo wont budge so that the pedal pushes the little white switch in turning the lights off when my foor isnt on the pedal, its like its stuck a cm away from where it should be, but it wont move
hope ive explained it well enough, any help would be much appreciated! would like to actually have a week where its not broken
Cheers Louis
