i think your right about the sss badges too 70's. the p slots are standard so won't fit without mods, i've got to space them out to sit right anyway so that will get around the centre bore problem. thanks for the pics too there's some great 80's styling there ;D

That does look nice, the flat-face wheels really do suit it's era perfectly. Needs SSS stickers, small roof/rear hatch spoilers/wings and body colour grille (vinyl tape/film for remove-ability?). GL SSS ?

still busy fixing fences and stables so the horses have some shelter when the weather changes so i haven't had time to make a start on the micra yet, i am formulating a plan though ;D. so far it involves mini exhausts, polo coilovers to get the wheels siting in the arches like this ![](http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/qq232/tumult/5722179173_d3637b75fe_b.jpg) and possibly some anime also took this pic when we did the weekly shop at Morrisons today ![](http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/qq232/tumult/032-2.jpg) couldn't resist really ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

just a quick update, i tracked down a new indicator the other day which turned up today so i could finally change this ![](http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/qq232/tumult/001-8.jpg) and adjusted the timing as it was pinking alot under load (is pinking the word i'm looking for lol) anyway its running alot smoother now. it's nice and smooth going through the gears now but i've still got no top end speed, it'll sit at 70 with no problems as long as the road is flat but as soon as you hit a bit of a hill it can't maintain speed quickly dropping down to 60 and even thats a struggle at times. i know it's only a tiny engine but i'm sure it should go a bit better than that, so all you k10 guys out there what sort of performance should it have? i've got a spare engine when i get time to pick it up and the plan is to put that in then tune the original engine, i don't want to do an engine swap for something bigger as i like the idea of tuning the 1.0 to see how well i can get it to go, has anyone tried it? and with what results?

I think all the valves are the same, just bigger ports and a much more efficient design ( from what v been told) Havnt had a chance to play with it yet, but as soon as I get couple of hours il take the grinder to it, il take plenty of pics too ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Ian (Bias) knows more than me but I can remember him telling me that the 1.2 eec (electronic emissions control) the latest k10 they did (late 92, early 93) came with the biggest valves to compensate for the lack of power the 2 cats and egr caused ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) And LOL at the size of them pictures, I zoomed google chrome out as far as it would go and I still couldnt fit it on my 1440 x 900 monitor!

finally got five minutes to spend on the micra today so i got the wheels on ![](http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/qq232/tumult/0012.jpg) had to open up the center bore a bit to get them to fit and they still need spacers, probably about 10-20mm on the back. also still needs lowering around 2" too.
