I can recomend the prison. Just got my SJ alloys back and they look great! They blasted them, grinded the road rash and painted them. Did not want powdercoating. Service was great! before After Flat black wide steels would look great, but periode correct alloys is better! I think yours will look good on the car!

Rims are a good mojo for any build but why not just source a 924S or 86 944 complete suspension and disc brake set up front and rear? (Less then wheel spacers if you bide your time) AND you can go 9J ET 65ish for max rubber on narrow body (or max in the camber to squeeze some dish in there-probably only 7J on 23ET)
Just a thought, obviously if you keep the spats or come up with a better solution then 9J + on an early (23ish ET) . First upgrade to 924S/86 944 suspension/brakes would be my move...Drum brakes ...It aint a SCIRROCCO LOL.

I forgot to mention, I've got a friend from Sweden who has taken on a real dog of a 924 (going 924CGT) so lots of expierence. He's a 911 restorer by trade and has family here (uk) I could hook you up with him for parts ect. Just PM me if interested.

Hello all
to fender baum, yes i like the prison work .They did the rims for my bmw e39 powdercoated black. Came out real fine
To Rippednails: the scirroco compairsion was fine , i think most roccos would do circles around my car . it s a automatic of all things. your friend with the porsche , you can show him the thread , and it is always good to have a tech to ask for help\ parts.
The 924s version is very scarce around here , so to source one for parts is not easy. This build is on minimun budget so i will stick to drums and make it road worthy the cheapest way first , what comes after is a different matter.
I have found a neglected 944 ,i will try to purchase later for parts.
