AA have always been pretty good. no car age limit, me covered in any car, driver or passenger, now matter how ropey it is
i once got one-semi tosser, but i compained about him and they rang me back up to say he had been 'reprimanded'. he deserved it though. they must have had a quiet night cos i got 2 vans turn up within 15 mins of each other, and mr. tosser must have been p1ssing the second driver off too, as he basically told the first one to curse word off, he'd deal with it. i did then have to wait over 2 hours for a transporter though.
but hey, 80 quid a year for me and my mum (who never uses it so it brings our 'average' callout per member down to keep the price low
best one was when i blew the motor in my old 'rather low' split van. dragged it onto a tilt slide transporter on both bumpers, with all 4 wheels off the floor it was that low, driver was laughing his head off and just passed me the winch control and told me to do it
