I think it'll be nicer when it's up a little anyway. (I'ts lovely already mind you!) The Range Rover sounds nice too, I think all the older Range Rovers are great, but the new ones I'm not so keen on. Too mcuh Posh n' Becks/gangsta rapper image to me, and the back end of the new ones look like the taillight lenses and back bumper are missing.

i bought it to modify but its a bit to nice to spoil like that. it can't half shift for a big car.

A 3.9 Rover will do that! I don't know, a bit of tasteful modification might be alright, as long as you didn't go down the 'gangsta' path. You know, 23 inch chrome wheels, slammed till it's lower than your Cavalier (which suits being slammed but I'm yet to see a slammed off roader on big wheels that I like!) and with as much stereo (sorry, that's "ICE", isn't it? That makes all the difference!) as you can fit in it! But then, nobody on here has taste that bad, do they?

i was going to lift it some more ( its already had a 2inch lift) and put some big mud tyres on it. i use it a lot for towing and sometimes we get it stuck trying to tow out of fields with the road tyre on . i don't see the point in buying a big 4x4 and then lowering it and putting low profile street tyres on it.

I totally agree, if you were going to lower a 4x4 and put low profile tyres on it, wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to start with an already low estate car? But what you have planned is quite sensible and practical, and will look great too, I say go for it!

Boom. Who do you insure the Range Rover with? I'm looking at quotes before I buy one.
Cheers
