Weird looking things aren't they! That drooping bootline... Quite fancy a Gordini one myself, French blue with the white stripes on. Bright spring morning, driving gloves on, Gauloise in hand (even though I don't smoke)... Ahhh...

Bright spring morning, driving gloves on, Gauloise in one hand, glass of red wine in the other, Vanessa Paradis in the passenger seat... Ahhh... Some crazed lunatic in a 2CV 2 inches from your rear bumper at 80 miles an hour ...

The Gordinis were only produged in LHD, but 6 were imported to Australia by the agents and converted to RHD. They were all fitted withthe 160hp kit which included modified head and 45mmDCOE Webers.
My father had a 16TS when I was a kid, but 2 days before we were moving over 1000 miles some @%$! put sugar in the tank. He had to trade it in on the spot for a knackered R10. That thing made it halfway across Australia with every ring in the motor cracked, and the last few hundred miles with a piece of one piston rattling around in the chanmer. It expired a couple of hundred yards from our new home. not bad eh?
