The are called Insiders, or mini micro machines. Sometimes came inside the same car in normal scale that opened up to reveal the miniature version. Also came in the little garages as you have. The Cobra is part of the deluxe series with opening doors bonnets and boots. Nice little haul  |

I'm not usualy a fan of the way-out cars, but that twin mill looks good, better with the stripes on it. After my failed visit to bigawesometoyshop, i still had the uege, so i bought this off ebay. Another casting that ive wanted for a while, but they tend to go for strong money, so I settled for this one as it was cheapy cheap. Not a fan of the paintwork but as usual these real riders have deeep metallics.   |

Thats a pretty cool casting, I've not seen that before. When I was a kid I used to take the tampos off with nail varnish remover, it would leave the paint under them completely intact. I don't know if that trick still works today, but if I found that casting, and it was cheap enough I reckon I'd be giving it a go!

i looked at turning the crewcab into a car transporter, but decided itd be a shame to cut it up. I did find this though  after trying afew castings up against it i came up with  the rear window lines up with the slope of the bed, and the running boards match up. Another alternative for the crewcab  |

I'm slowly rediscovering my childhood collection as it makes its way out of the loft and into my son's possession. One that stood out from the last batch was this... It's a 1984 Hot Wheels with a spring loaded front end that flips over when it hits something to make it look like its crashed:   Just thought it was pretty cool. Anyone know of any more like this? |

I remember having a yellow one with the rear end spring loaded in the same way, not sure if they came as a set. |
