A few finds this week  The chevette I'd been looking for for a while, and the Plymouth coupe.  And the lorry which I naturally thought would attach to the old matchbox trailers but doesn't. And an old matchbox harley with sidecar that I really like in its original battered spec, but will probably get a repaint at some point. |

Picking up an Argos order at my local Sainsbury's, I had a quick browse in the toy aisle. They've got big discounts on some Lego (didn't notice any cars) but more pertinently, they've got all 5 Canyon Warriors for £5.99 each.  |

Tip run this morning. Found this.  Very nice. Also I dropped my phone last week and completely faffed it. Bought another one and have been messing with the camera.  Looks like I'll be taking more when the weather gets a bit more reliable. |

I recently found a STH, the best one of the year IMO too, the Volvo Drift Wagon. I never expect to find any STH and this year even the regular TH have been thin on the ground.  Standing in a queue in Aldi a week later, I noticed they had a small box of HW by the aisle, looked inside and, alo-ha, another Volvo Drift Wagon STH, just sat on the top of the pile. Two in a week! I'll never do that again  |

Just one yesterday whilst getting food. Not my usual go for but i drove one identical to this a while back when I worked for a chrysler garage. Cool but Strangley disappointing tbh.  |

Putting this many together was tough, the chase vehicles are all black with 0/5 numbering. Might buy a few off eBay to round it out a bit more but probably not  |

Out and about today, got a 2024 Custom Otto. I don't really get many fantasy castings but it just looks so cool in orange.  |

Quiet day at work so went home early. Popped into antique shop. Redline corvette for £1. Lovely. Last night I found out some nice things about this car. Its got a 67 date on the base and was released in 68 as part of the hotwheels launch. Clear glass in the US, blue in Hong Kong. This casting was only available in 68, which makes this a '68 car. I am far too happy about that. 😁 |

Years ago I found a similiar colour, age, condition Mustang .
I love the way the axles are sprung on wires.

I couldn't resist and got the Fiat 131 from the Modern Classics series when I was doing the shopping.  The others don't really float my boat, I would have liked the Corrado but instead of going for a standard model, they went for what looks like a Rieger bodykitted version instead. |
