Just picked this up from the local Morrisons while I was grabbing some cheese. Someone had already gone through the box trying to find something but must have missed it. I'm not too interested in bikes, and neither is the boy, and I don't collect these so if anyone does collect the treasure hunts then I'd be happy to send it along. Maybe trade for something interesting?

We're on the hunt for that modified 1G civic but still no joy, this was our latest find. Kind of a mix of Lamborghini and a Celica Supra.

Found my second ever Super TH recently. I bought the standard mainline version to go with it. I found it browsing a HW box in Tescos, same as the first STH I found.

I've spent the last hour starting this display board for the diecast collection. Some foamboard and plastic section is all you really need. I used some strong tape to cover the edges, and cover my god-awful cutting. This is the plastic section. It's sold in B&Q, I think it's designed to join panels. It's trimmed to 770mm wide which holds seven cars. Double sided tape to attach the plastic sections. Glue is fine, this is just my preference. This is the tape I use. It's proper poo-to-a-blanket stuff, I've attached number plates with it before. Just need another length of section to finish off.

Was at Aldis today, saw a black Sport Quattro and a grey (I guess?) Sierra Cosworth.

Popped into b&m to get some bits and it seems they are now stocking hotwheels and matchbox. Word must've got around because there wasn't anything interesting left. So I bought a bag. £2. That'll do.

I found this absolute beauty in Smyths Toys this morning. It cost nine quid, but goddamn it's gorgeous. There are five in the range, they also had the yellow Lambo and the Alfa GTA. I like the look of the 155 though.

Nice upcoming set in the Car Culture range, Canyon Warriors. More chance of winning the lottery than finding one of the M5 or Sierra in the wild though.

I was wondering…..
Stood looking at the absolute massive selection of Hotwheels yesterday and today.
Is it my imagination, or are they getting ever so slightly smaller overall?
Could be old news for collectors, but I am not in that league.

Got this for my missus' younger brother the other day, only to realise afterwards it was £9.. I doubt he'd appreciate it that much, and not worth it to me, but might be to someone on here (plus postage) before I return it next time I'm out? Looks great, but I've spent way too much filling a box of the normal ones already, and need to draw a line somewhere! Message if interested, thought it worth asking here first Cheers, Rob

Thom I found one of these today, there were two but I left the other one for someone else. It is, by far, the best mainline casting I think I've ever seen. If I didn't know otherwise, I'd have thought it was a STH.

I didn't buy much for ages due to a complete HW drought in pretty much every one of the usual places but I managed to tick another one off my short 'I'd like one of those' list. In a well known high street shop, it was the only one there and I doubt I'll see another one in the wild. I never saw one of the HW Boulevard series P6's anywhere so was quite pleased to find this. I'm not sure why they didn't bundle the P6 in with one of the Mk1 Transit castings they do, it would have made a much better pairing but the 'Rally Hauler' is still a pretty cool truck.
