	I found quite a few boxes of Hotwheels in the loft over Christmas no wonder it took so long looking for the Christmas lights plus the "Farbs" still in one of my small cabinets

	Have You got any relation to the german town Mainz? Because You've got one of the "Mainzelmännchen" in there as well, next to the lego mechanic.

Not actually to Mainz but I do have a German connection, my grand parents lived in Wuppertal and I used to spend most of my school summer holidays there. I do have a few Mainzelmannchen hidden away in boxes somewhere in the loft. They are from 40 odd years of toy collecting along with the Hotwheels, diecast, tinplate that I have kept but need to sort out.

I just realised these two are out on display these two are about 10 inches tall, they used to be hard to find and rather expensive

	Been shopping again! Found the Audi in Poundland, and the others in Tesco, including the Volvo Gasser. Their Matchbox singles were reduced to a quid, but they only had the Jag and the LVEC taxi.

	I don't know if they're widespread, but the blue Matchbox Capri is back in stock at my local big Tesco. They had at least half a dozen in.

	I'm trying to understand Hot Wheels case codes. I read that a particular case has just been released. My understanding is that a particular model will be allocated a case code, and will only be shipped in those cases. Once those cases are shipped out, no more will be made. Am I understanding correctly? How do I find out (if possible) what case a new model will be in, and when it might be released?

	Easiest is following lamley unboxing videos. Some may only come in one case code but most spread out. Also; euro, or short cards don’t follow the same numbering - some earlier some later so I’m sure there is something similar to lamley for short cards.

	Scored this today Also saw the mg metro transport set, but looked a bit cheap in yellow and didn't like the van so left it. Don't like the boat in this set either, but I didn't buy it for that. Much better. Will paint them to match at some point as a dirt racer possibly.

	Checked my local Sainsbos today and had a look. The only Ford was a fox body (I think?) Mustang. I did however find this... One of my all-time favourite cars is the 767 as I had part of the front shell hanging up in the garage for years with CHARGE written across it. It's very hard to find models of it as it wasn't very successful and was quickly superceded by the 787. Very happy with that!
