And, following on from the couple of posts above, I got something unexpected to chop up and play about with (it's so badly out of scale...)


And stumbled on some current HW and MB cards at a stand that mainly had dinkys, well, a bit of rummaging and I turned up these in the bottom of the box...

The Mercedes I was looking for since seeing the one posted here a few pages back, but all of the others are prime candidates for wheel donors.

Got two sets of Johnny Lightning Wheeled Warriors from the USA. There were only 2004 of each model made world wide and one of my boxes had a White Lightning Chase Ambulance too (2% of total production).

That's very cool.

Same here, it's been like that a while too with one exception where I found a TH. The Entertainer had dozens of the same three fantasy ones and not much else and the supermarkets just don't seem to have anything at all.

Even the B&M bucket/basket is bare.

I got dragged into an auction yesterday and may have purchased 400 hot wheels lol so be good to see what arrives in that batch. Also had this Matchbox collectors edition LR Series II Safari arrive which is quite cool as well as an RLC Willys Jeep.

Works out at around £1.40 per car but they are mostly late 90's early 00's all still carded

Found one of these in the B&M Hot Wheels bargain basket this evening. I've never seen a mainline/carded chase ID car (as opposed to the boxed ID cars) before, other than on the internet. Supposedly they sit somewhere between TH and STH cars in terms of rarity.

I've found B&M have restocked, but mainly with older cars. Grabbed a few as stocking fillers with the boy, found the Fast and Furious set with Evo in it so kept that, found the 5 set with the grey escort for the boy (minus the escort )

Discovered a new local outlet for HW, Matalan. Not a shop I frequent but was in there looking for something else and noticed they had several racks of them. Not a bad selection and I picked up two 2021/22 TH cars plus the Ryu Mk1 Golf.
