Siku Range Rover. Is it just me or do Siku models always seem to be just a little bit larger than MB or HW cars? Just shooting the breeze here but 1:50 ( S) scale was/is popular in Germany for trains and the origins of Siku may have been in providing vehicles for that. Certainly they even yet tend to be around 1:50 or 1:55 whereas Matchbox and Hotwheels are much more 1:57 to 1:62. 1:64 scale, the one they are usually marketed at, is actually quite small, and we don't really see much of that, maybe from Tomica or old American brands. |

Day 14.  Maisto Ford Thunderbird. Not had one yet, but it's on the list... Those wheels on these Maisto models are just hideous! |

Day 13. Siku Range Rover. Is it just me or do Siku models always seem to be just a little bit larger than MB or HW cars? I had a fire dept one that had a small black searchlight on the roof (not to be confused with the Matchbox Rolamatic one). And yes, they did seem a bit bigger. They always seem to be a lot more expensive than HW or Majorette stuff in France too. |

Day 16.  Teamsterz 22B. lol, I know why my kids bought me this wierd looking thing. I always look at them when I'm routing through the hotwheels bin in ASDA, these things always seem to be mixed in with the good stuff. Theres two that I always look at, but never buy, this one, and a pick up that looks a bit like a Dodge Ram with a mad Max Power style bodykit on it. |

Day 18.  Realtoy Isuzu VehiCross. Much like the Siku Range Rover this seems to be slightly larger in scale than the others. I seem to remember mine being about the size of a Frontera... This one will need to get a re-paint at some point! |

So I've been getting into bad habits again and amalgamating more Hot Wheels mostly without my wife knowing  As you can see from the pic I've managed to score some nice ones and also forgot there are some in the back of the car as well Audi Quattro/32 Ford amongst others  However as I was finishing up some Christmas shopping today i happened upon the Entertainer Store. Just one glance in side drew me in. Not only was it 3 for 2 on Hot Wheels it, but they had helpfully laid out 20 or 30 on a table with the display, making finding the interesting ones quick and easier than trying to see them on the pegs.....treated myself to 6 and was delighted when my eyes spotted the Volvo, along with 2 i'd never seen before, the Mustang Convertible and the RV There Yet. Oh and of course another Escort to add to my ever growing collection   Christmas came early........(I also found a Fast and Furious 5 pack the other day that i was allowed to have for my stocking ) |

I keep looking at RV there yet myself, I can't decide if I like it or not. I think I'm swaying towards not. Bought myself the Mustang, Volvo, and Escort today though!
