I'd forgotten about the Rice Krispie Model A. I has some as a kid and MB brought out a rodded version with fat rear wheels on I think. I remember cutting the bumper off it and hacksawing the top of the box off to make a pickup out of it. I even got the plastic roof to (sort of) fit to make a tonneau cover. Majorette made a very similar A pickup with tonneau cover, which would have saved you the bother  |

Will have to be a online retailer here in the uk, currently MB is not sold through any retail outlets, rumour has it Tesco's should be starting to in September but there's been no new MB anywhere for months since Asda stopped selling, pity as theres some nice new castings this year including this merc. |

Poundland is called dealz here.
And several of the managers have said they are not getting matchbox/hotwheels back.
They are sticking to those rzr I think it is, cars.
Hope its not true.
Plus Tesco here recently restocked the Hw's in every store, with bang up to date boxes.
Again, I hope its not a one off!

Right then, all you good folk out there that are creating custom models, heres a couple of questions for you...  I want to put the front from the red saloon car, on to the greeen estate car. Umm, unless somebody can tell me where I can buy a late sixties Ford Galaxie wagon from. So where do I cut them both? I'm guessing the chassis will need chopping too, again, where?  The widths aren't exactly the same, but they're probably close enough. How do I glue it back together, with what glue, and more importantly will it need any sort of structure behind it? (I really am hoping that one of you guys will say, why don't you just buy one of these late sixties Galaxie wagons and re-paint it) |

The only problem then I suppose is the Galaxie will have the rear end of a saloon. Hmmm interesting. |
