Same round me, all the supermarkets and Wilko seem to be adopting their own rather rubbish diecasts.
However, PoundWorld has resurfaced as "One Below" (same owner, same shops, same corporate colours) and they had some recent looking Matchbox cars in as well as Zuru branded ones. These looked a bit like the Hot Wheels' made up cars and better made than some of the own brand stuff.

Is Asda stopping selling hot wheels? Only reason I ask that whilst on a quest for the Quattro sport and 190 cosworth, I’ve been into both my local branches, one hasn’t restocked in weeks and both are replacing them with looksy likey plastic tat models I was starting to think that too, then all of a sudden a few Asdas round my way put loads of fresh HW stock out. I had a field day! Sad news is though, I'm pretty sure Asda have stopped selling Matchbox. |

When I was at Sandown a chap said the problem with supply seems so widespread that its hard to work out exactly what the issue is. Its worse with matchbox that it is with hotwheels. Last year my local Smyths was stocking real riders and allsorts, thats now little more than mainline, personaly i havnt been into a shop since looong before christmas and seen anything worth shouting about.

Poundland seam to be stocking Hot Wheels again, my local hasn’t had any in for months but popped in today and they had loads.

Fleetside is nice. We (wife) had a stall at Macron toy fair Sunday just gone. Sold a few of my redline doubles and bought an expensive AMX (but in nice condition). I have not found anything decent (cheap) the last few times and had almost given up hope but had yet another wander and found Nitty Gritty Kitty in purple for £4, and a no sunroof beetle for £1. It had been painted over and had no wheels so I spent the rest of the day scraping the non standard paint off. I had a green beetle for sale but took it off the stall so it could donate its wheels to the NSR one. Picked up a HotWheels counter display box yesterday ;D  I had an independent toy shop a few years back and used to get offered display racks for die cast and would give them away to collectors,I have to say the best die cast sellers back then were Saico and kinsmart / kinsfun, I must admit i took home a fair few for my own collection  |

Trip to my local hotwheel watering hole turned out to be fruitful on this occassion. Most will be used as wheel donors and shells sold off on ebay or paint stripped and used in some planned projects.   |

I didn’t go for it but I wish I had; Supreme sold their Hot Wheels Team Transport with an E30 m3 this week. It sold out in 33 seconds. Argggh!!!

Anybody see this on ebay? 372652641958.
Do you reckon it was the error on the base that made it reach that price. I have one the same colour but a little better condition. I would never sell it as I could never replace it.
