I think for the money that Mrs Pistonpopper paid for it (£8) it's not that bad, but if she had paid the £24.99 that they were originally in Tesco I think it would be a bit of a rip off. The stickers are pretty dire, and personally I think it's a shame that there aren't more cars, and that they were proper cars rather than made up models, but I guess the biggest problem is that I am the wrong demographic for the product. Day 20... It's a car!  Muscle Tone, which is another fantasy car that I actually like. And as it's day 20 its also Mrs Pistonpoppers birthday. Every year since we've been together she gets a Johnny Lightning Holiday Ornament, and this year she got  a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle wagon to hang on our tree. Hopefully the clip will manage to hold together through Christmas! Added to this, if all of this wasn't enough, Mrs Pistonpopper wanted to go Christmas shopping today, so I took the day off and off we went. She wanted to go to B&M so after much protest from me, in we went. I stopped protesting when I saw this...  A HotWheels Bat Copter! and at £2.49 it was coming home with me!

Picked up this 5 pack today, packaging absolutely trashed so no value there. Plan is to sell them on ebay as singles, keeping one for myself......now what colour should i go for   |

What does the snowman hold on to? I'm guessing he does as those hands are lego esque......

You're right about the hands of the snowman being a bit lego-esque skinnylew, but as yet I've found nothing that the snowman holds on to. As for the brown pieces of the tree braaap I think that they are for holding it onto a car like the previous jet engine, however no strap was included with the tree, so I guess its either fallen down inthe box, and I will find it after all the doors are opened and I take the box apart to look, or you're supposed to use the one from the jet engine, after all you cant have a jet engine and a tree on the roof at the same time can you. Or, it was supposed to be there, but the elves at the Mattel factory forgot to put one in. Anyway, here's todays treasure... Day 22.  A sticker of Fast Felion! |

Yes it is, I didn't notice until I took this photo, but looking back at the other stickers the HotWheels logo is a separate sticker on each one.

But I did buy a black jaguar xk and a red big healey. Pics to come. Nearly forgot:  Maybe the snowman will hold those brown pieces of the tree? Whatever they are.  they are lovely, where did you find them?? Took me months of it sitting next to me to realise that the Embosser car transporter actually does embossing of the hot wheels logo through the slot at the bottom!!! |

Can´t be more precise as I can´t remember exactly, but the exact place wouldn´t help you further anyway. But I guess they were in the same box with that nissan junior pickup, the pink oldsmobile vista or the red (?) ford fairlane wagon I saw, too, but did not buy. I can ask Michael aka ElWoody if he has some for you, since he buys more models regularly. |

they are lovely, where did you find them?? I've seen them both in ASDA, but at £1.98 each I left them... Probably get them after my next payday though! Day 23 bring us more plastic...  Skids! much like the half track tracks I quite like these, although these clip on accessories that mount to the wheels do make the wheels a bit redundant.  I quite like the look, but let's face it, thats never gonna work!  There we go, that should do it!

Was wandering round Asda today and thought I'd check out some toys for my sons Christmas. As he's only 18 months (and my older two are girls) I have really paid much attention to the 'older' toys for boys. They had Matchbox and Hotwheels cars for a quid - I could have spent a fortune!!! Started off with an Ambulance and a Prius but then dug deeper and found a lot cooler stuff underneath: 08 Ford F350 Ambulance 08 Toyota Prius 08 Dodge Charger Police Car (Sort of retro) 08 Dodge Challenger (again retro-ish) 70s Chevy Van VW Type 181 68 Toyota Landcruiser Pontiac GTO 71 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser (with dogs in boot!) 64 Mini Cooper S 68 Monaco Police Car Gonna go back during week for another trawl for more Retros for me... eh I mean him! ;D  Original post..... wonder if his son got to play with them 😂😂😂😂😂 |
