This does look really good, 924s always look like they need "proper" wheels, not the teeny jobbies they usually have, top work! I think I might have gone for slightly less profile on the front though.

It is "Concours" IMHO and not using the car that is the abhorence!! ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) You have a very tidy 924, just begging to be driven and shown off. Fair play to you mate!! Oh, and a definite yes to front spolier and no boot spoiler, there has to be a balance between styles and OE in this case. Alot of people don't think a front engined RWD Porsche is true Porsche, this car is living proof, they are wrong! ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

WHY? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ? do you do this to me, always hated the way the 911 looked and yes even the new one! But always had a fancy for the 924 & 944, and watching you guys posting your Porsches and enjoying them so much, has left me no other choice but to sell my kadetts 1&2 and buy a porsche just got to find a good one. It has been a hot topic of debate, and to all my mates out there i am going to buy one. i don't care if you think i am selling out to dubbers its not a dub its a PORSCHE. I don't care if it has a van engine, and i don't care if Clarkson says it looks like a sierra from side on. well done porsche guys you have a convert on your hands. Cant wait to get rid of the opels and park a PORSCHE in my garage.

I've always besmirched the Audi 924, but that is nice. The wheels really do it justice. Cars are for driving, so daily it and enjoy.

I got told about the LT van thing loads when I had mine, even though it isn't even true, it's sad that that's all people know about these cars. "The 924 used a van engine!" "So did the Viper!"
The handling is awesome and that engine is really good once it gets past 30. Are you sure the interior is leather, mine was vinyl??

who cares what people say they are not driving a posche, anyways if you think about people are often brand loyal, a lot of bad things can be said about manufacturer, its choice, eg why coke instead of pepsi.

I'm not sure about the UK but in ZA the same 1.8 engine and 2.0 engine used in the mk2 astra/belmont was used in the isuzu ldv, the cranks in these motors are snatched up by anyone wanting to put some serious horses in their kadett/astra/belmont/monza because these cranks are built better and stronger. So next time you look at a astra 1.8/2.0 think this car has the same engine as an ldv

Love the 924 and you have it stanced perfectly. the trick with Porsche mods is bolt on bolt off and you will always retain value. I used to hillclimb one of these and the best engine mod I managed was 5th injector for starting, audi 100 throttle body(larger), custom 4 into one manifold and kent fast road cam.....performance improved no end and!
