	well for me I crashed by car and 8 years later its like this rust, dents cracked paint and patina, I think I can call that ratty.

	Not a look I particulally like when its done on purpose, but just take the paint off, no need for anything else in this climate, i had to replace the backbox that fell off my Volvo so i stuck on a straight piece of tube that was laying about, it went from pristine and shiny to covered in surface rust in 24 hours after a rain storm, i never even drove the car.
	Volvo back as my main squeeze, more boost and some interior goodies on the way.

	take it to a sand blaster or powdercoaters. theyll get the paint off fast. then just refit it and let the weather ruin it.
	Got the car from 105 bhp at the crank to 152 at the wheels.nitrous going on next.....if it ain't broke,keep bolting on go faster parts until it is........ www.fordgranadaclubuk.freefo.de

	Lots of bonnets are galvanised aswell, I had to take an angle grinder to the bonnet of my old 306. However, its done to death nowadays TBH.
	Siggy too Biggy. Dirty Diesel Peugeot Partner HDi van. Lows,Wellers and dents... The abused workhorse. Scarlet red 406 V6 Coupe, The occasional waft-mobile.

	Set fire to it, watch carefully till the paint burns off then take a piddle to damp the flames. Man, I really should post more in the tech section ;D
