The shell is a red Rover 25 Advantage which is in very good condition, with just a few scratches. The front end is from an MG ZR. The 2l turbo engine is from a Rover Coupe Turbo as is the subframe. The car is lowered 40mm all round on springs and shocks. The T25 turbo boosts to 12psi, controlled by a manual boost controller. The engine produces around 200bhp at this level of boost. The exhaust system is from a diesel Rover 25 which is 2.5" bore throughout as against a standard petrol Coupe turbo exhaust which is only 2.25". This larger bore allows the engine to breathe more freely and produce more power. The PG1 gearbox has been fitted with steel caged bearings as failure of the standard bearings when running higher than standard boost levels is common. A front strut brace is also fitted. The standard head gasket is a weak point of the T16 engine so this has recently been replaced with an uprated gasket to prevent any problems.
The interior is the half leather interior from an MG ZR in the colour blue. These seats are adjustable (including height adjustment). Steering column is also adjustable. Other features include Driver airbag, Immobiliser, Power assisted steering, and Remote locking.
The car is currently sitting on steelies and is a pretty sweet sleeper (I've seen some pretty shocked Audi, BMW etc drivers ). I can also include a set of alloy wheels from a Rover BRM but these will come without tyres.
I haven't got round to changing the log book so it's still down as a 1.4.
Bad points: Front passenger side outer CV joint is abit noisy when loaded (these are about £30). A very easy fix, I just haven't got round to doing it yet.
Otherwise the car drives brilliantly, and always puts a smile on my face.
Feel free to email or ring me with any questions or for more pictures etc.
