If it's a turbo it probably has the epic pump, not the best for reliabilty and it will be fly by wire if it is and will go into LOS when a sensor goes down, ok if it's an external sensor but if it's one in the pump curing the problem can become epic ! try the pedal in case the poinometer has a durty track or burnt out track ? a good dose of switch cleaner might do the trick.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

if worst comes to worst I believe you can use the bosch pump on these engines and convert them back to drive with a throttle cable, not sure how you sort the fuelling for when on boost though, a good look on www.fordtransit.org would tell you the information you need..

...and it will be fly by wire if it is and will go into LOS when a sensor goes down... What's LOS? Limited operations stratergy or limp home mode there's a couple of non leccy bosch pumps you can use to replace the epic but the are pretty rare (only 2 serial coded as far as I know) and cost a bit but cut out all the problems with the epic pump and get you back to good old manual control of the fueling and throttle. As said check the transit forum link out, there a good few threads on there about it with all the numbers you need

^ so they do actually have a limp mode then? Wow! How do you tell the difference between LOS and normal operation? ;D

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

I used to work at an LDV dealer and whenever we had this we just threw a pedal on.
We even carried them as stock in the recovery vans.
