Finally... Its only taken me 14 years since I first saw one of these to get one. I've wanted one since that day but could never afford one, they still pull £3k plus for a minter. I found this slight rusty example for less than a grand and had our friendly RR driver Bignut pick it up for me. She needs some work, the arches all need some fettling, theres also the classic rust on the inner rear arches. I've not lifted the carpets yet,but they appear quite dry so i'm hoping the majority of the floors still there... Kinda shows how small she is, the Yaris ain't exactly the largest car in the world ;D

Hm, I think it'd be cool too see more people try more matte colours other than green or black. Some matte blue or something would look pretty cool, no? Just food for thought I guess

Search kei truck drifting on youtube.
They use that engine in suzuki super carry pickups to turn them into some of the best drifting vehicles in japan!

Can't wait to see what you do to this! Did you do anything to your Yaris?

I've always fancied one of these, are they really any good though? I'm not sure they need much doing to them, I like the whole wide wheel/stance thing and I do get it, but for me these little cars are surely all about the driving!! Hang on, went a bit funny there.................. A different matt colour would definitely look good, how about primer grey with some gloss black touches?

Can't wait to see what you do to this! Did you do anything to your Yaris? That's a shame, they're great cars, I love mine! Are Cappuccinos 4 x 100? What kind of size/offset wheels do they take as I have some that would suit yours nicely.

The Yaris is a cracking car mate, i'd recommend one to anyone, its just a little modern for to get enthusiastic about! Today: Pull out the interior Removing this lot helps access greatly Take a look Bit of grot! Get the grinder out, its blasted double skinned nonsense, ah well, bit more fabrication will be needed I guess... As a bonus the cills are very good, which is amazing looking at the floor. Also the rot stops dead at the rear subframe mounts, so I wont have to drop that out - happy days. Oh, Summers! I call first blood...

Yeah its not as bad as i expected.
It is all double skinned and ribbed and the like for strength as its close to the subframe mounts so will take some fabrication, but i want it right, i want to enjoy the car for years to come, not constantly chase rust...
