Been reading for a while, so going to post my projects here to.
This is my proud and joy my 65 mustang supercharged imported from the USA
Also have several other classics wich i'm building at the time (mostly 16v head conversions and superchargerd wich is my specialty).
Was given the car for my birthday just before i got 18 and have been rebuilding it for the last 9/10 years
When i got it she had a LPG instalation wich i dumped soon don't like it running on gas wanted petrol .
Did some simple things like edelbrock intake and carburator and put some american racing wheels on it. Drove it to school some years and decided to strip it down
Had a simple 302 engine
Sanding...
Completly bare...
Welded
Epoxy
Primer
And color not the usual color for a mustang, its pearlescent yellow from wich a friend of my made himself.
Sanding ?!
For grey shelby stripes (grey metallic from honda)
Stripes got sanded in and lots of clearcoat over it, you cant feel the stripes on the car
Custom billet hood hinges from ring brothers
New interior
Time for the engine bought alot of things for it including this quik fuel holley carb
Lowered it with a coil over conversion and a Rack and pinion steering. Car corners and drive like a modern car now.
Trailer curse word
Attended a car show with the new boyd coddington wheels
Did a conversion t
o a 5 speed gearbox, T5Z (rebuilt by gforce, stronger than the world clas and straight cut).
Spec 2 clutch and pro 5.0 quik shift
The engine, 331 screamer with Trickflow Twisted wedge heads, Ford motorsport camshaft, Ford motorsport roller rockers, Hedmann headers, MSD 6BTM ignition box, MSD Dizzy, Paxton Supercharger with improved impeller, Water methanol injection etc.. etc..
Victor JR manifold
Big hole
The heads, made the rocker covers our self
Huge valves !
My dad made the bracing himself and al brackets and pulleys from Alluminum.
Got another package, braking is important to So complete Mustang 2003 cobra brake setup (13 inch discs front 11.25 inc rear, all vented)
And rear
Also the rack and pinion conversion
That is were we are now, going for a 9 Inch rear axle now and going to 4 link it for beter traction at the rear.
But most time is going in the new project (Simca rallye with 16V golf head).
