double misunderstanding, I wasn't thinking what u thought I was thinkin'...  doesn't get any easier this way, but I understand what you're trying to tell me. The Volvo is still running properly, nice little ride, but the 1100cc's are a bit weak, looking already for 1400cc's from the Volvo 340's of maybe an Renault 5-alpine engine. About the suspension, looking for some coil overs to produce, but that's in the future. Was looking for airride, but after all; bags 'r' for fags... ;-)  |

Another engine you could put in would be the 1300 engine from a Marathon spec DAF 66 or Volvo 66 GL

Nice! i love the 66... wish we got them over here in the US. there's one or two that i know of that were imported... but those are the only i've heard of in the country. cool little things!

About the 343, I've got 2 of them, both 1977. The last one is a donor-car, at least untill someone decides to restore it. ![]() [/img] And finally, my Volvo 66 Combi in the Dutch Winters...  |

Raised the car heigt, rides alot better. Also did a bit metal-work on it.  Fun car to cruise around!  |

Cheers. It is very original indeed. The first plan of attack is to get it running again and then to tidy it up slightly. Not sure if I will keep it as I have two 33's and a Triumph 1300 FWD to tend to as well.

It was about 300 km's, so it went on the trailer... like a real trailer-queen...  Over 2 grand ! ! ! Holey Cows! --------- So I thougt my work was done here and it was time to move on with another project. I'll explain in another topic. |
