Some stunning work here, I cant draw, but as I found out today, my 9 year old neice can. On her first attempt, a ferrari. I thought it was traced at first, but no, freehand. I think I might need to keep an eye on this Not to be outdone, my nephew took the stuffing out of a bear and got inside it.

Brilliant. I can see they've both got good creative minds that should be encouraged. Meanwhile, here's a T bucket I whipped up recently.

Another one from me. They're both high performance Fords, both over the top and both drawn in my favourite medium at the moment, ballpoint, but otherwise it's chalk and cheese.

Are those real lego or 3D renderings? The cars look real but the people don't.
Seeing them makes me want to ask my nephews if they've grown out of their Lego yet.

ratchart They are renderings. But great that it's hard to tell! It's cheaper this way and you can cheat a bit with the connections I do plan to build some in real life but this way you know which bits you need.

My last painting of the year, nay decade! Those of you paying attention here may notice a resemblance between this and one I posted earlier this year. In truth the owner of the car above saw a copy of that said painting and noting that it looked much like his own ride (except his is a station wagon and the original was a sedan) ordered one for himself.

Been a while since I stuck anything in here. I stopped doing automotive work by commission early last year, primarily for business reasons. Unreasaonable requests and expectations, time wasters, and generally a miserable stressy time of things meant it just wasn't adding up, a true case of not turning a hobby into a job situation. So I've been quiet on the automotive front while I focused on other subject material that is more profitable and my little business has gone from strength to strength, happily. It also means I can now indulge in whatever car nonsense I fancy and not worry about the financial reward, since I can slot it around other work more easily and then pop it in the print shop to see how it does. Much easier, much more fun. So here's the first bit of Spanish-based nonsense. www.redbubble.com/people/angylroper/shop/?asc=u&collections=1262993 As an aside, Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover, BMW, and Lamborghini are all on my Do Not Draw list now because of copyright strikes against my work featuring their models. Shame, really, I was looking forward to doodling up an Espada for the shop. Oh well.

The nephew sort of already did that. My sister phoned the neighbour and asked her to come over, meanwhile the nephew layed motionless on the ground in front of the door. When she knocked on the door he moved. She screamed.

Some more biro work, which has become one of my favourite art tools. I tend to do more black & white art work this time of year as the light (or lack of) makes seeing colours accurately more difficult, especially under artificial light. For those who aren't familiar with American and custom cars that's a 1965 Buick Riviera and 1929 Ford Sedan delivery

I'm going to take us to almost the very opposite end of the motoring scale with an Austin Metro Chairman. Available as a print too: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/45982659?ref=studio-promoteI don't recall ever seeing artwork of a Metro Chairman, there must be some, I've just never seen it.

I know it's not the focus of the piece, but I really like your brick wall there, that's a difficult thing to get the colours right on.

A new work in progress. I started this a couple of weeks ago as a "Barn Find", then put it to one side, then I took it out again and realised it's actually topical, so the new (provisional) title is "Self Isolation" There's loads of work still to do but I hope you like it so far.
