Buy a broken angle grinder. Paint it up as the Deluxe Lowering Kit Solution. Was looking at them on the carboot yesterday and second hand ones aren't cheap. Then as said in the other thread it needs to be mounted to a board and this adds more work/cost/postage and people don't actually ever seem to want to pay for stuff

If I had money I'd have so many ridiculous things on my walls, like your painted saws. Alas, I am a poor struggling artist living in a draughty loft in Paris. Sort of.

One of my latest,i was aiming for the sort of artwork style you used to see on ciggie and PG Tips cards back in the 60's and 70's.Quite pleased how it turned out, just needs varnishing now. It's acrylic on canvas board. Probably end up on the bay at some point,i was thinking of buying a "B" when i started it and by the time i'd finished i'd bought a 25 year old Eunos V Spec instead

I had a little challenge set for myself in October to pick four hearses from a list of suggestions (almost all of which didn't exist) and create some images to stick to the seasonal theme of the month. Unfortunately I didn't hit that deadline, life and paid work rather got in the way, but I did create these. First up, a moderately sensible Vauxhall Viva based initially on a 2 door estate. Second choice was something rather more silly, and challenging, being an Ariel Atom. It's still mid-engined and even equipped with a casket. In my head, this has some sort of crazy lightweight hydraulic/electric side loading mechanism. Canopy on the top serves as useful storage and a good place to fix floral tributes. No glass so no restriction to the airflow for the engine. Ridiculous, but fun. Then stuff happened and I only got as far as sketching the next two. They'll get coloured eventually. My third choice was, therefore, a Honda Accord Aerodeck based traditional Japanese hearse. When doing reference research for this I also learned that there appear to be no pop-up headlight equipped hearses out there and I wondered why that was, or if there are some but they're incredibly difficult to find images of. Finally, an obnoxious hot rod hearse in the form of a Mk1 Ford Capri. This will eventually have a purple scheme. If it were real I can only guess at how much glitter and fibreglass would have been used in its construction.

I'm on a bit of a roll at the moment, productively speaking. These are project designs for a chap who's just imported a '35 Ford pick-up. at the time he commissioned the work he wasn't sure whether to paint it white or gold, hence the two versions.

Thanks.
You're half right. The Coupe is a '34, the Tudor in the background is a '32 (Brit body).

I like that. The whole Coke bottle/reflections thing with the C3 is a nice subtle idea. It had never occurred to me before. I hope you've been suitably rewarded (i.e. cash!) for your idea.

Bit of a change of tack from me. Started life as a marker pen sketch which I scanned and imported into Inkscape (a freeware program, works a bit like Adobe Illustrator) traced, cleaned up and a bit of background and text added.

Thanks for the compliments. Looking back at it here, I can see a few details that want correcting actually.

It's small for me Iain, 20x16. Normally work a lot bigger than that.

A couple from me, the only two I've done this winter; This one is A1 in length, with the same height as an A3, so one of the biggest I've done
