leigh, ive been trying to clean some of my doodles up and ive found it very difficult to do with sketches, so ive started drawing in blue biro then going over it with a black biro to clean up the lines. makes it much much easier to sort out in gimp after.
plus its much more fun to use pens than 'paths'

Hi everyone, sorry about my disappearing act, I've had to deal with some boring real life stuff unfortunately. If anyone wants to takeover the contests feel free. Shame man, hope everythings ok now, and it all comes good for you I would offer to take over as I'm here quite often now, but i wouldnt want to make up titles if I'm also entering, might be a little unfair...

I reckon you'd be fine to enter as well as set them up, its a public vote anyway, as long as you keep it pretty open when it comes to titles you'll be fine.

We'll see if anyone else comes along in the next week. Do you have time to set up a vote for the boso one as that was your baby? If not dw i give it a go later...

Thing is I hate drawing in blue pen, I just don't like it and over the years I've become so accustomed to using a black BIC biro as that's what I have to write with in work everyday. I'll give these 'paths' and 'layers' a go, see how I get on. Thanks for the advice lads

Hi all, just joined and got pointed at this thread - some really cool stuff in here! I've been painting cars since I was four, had a ten year break but I've been painting in oils for the last two. Here are some of mine: 58 Plymouth, oils on canvas Dodge Challenger, illustrator vector (approximately 13000 dots!) 58 Cadillac, gouache on board Rusty Plymouth, Oils on Canvas Ferrari Dino, Oils on Canvas (photo of this one isn't particularly good). Hope you like em! Anth.
