Azura estates and saloons rare-most are hatchbacks Only 3 colours - white(rare)., silver and blue White 1.6 estate rarest combo I was not aware of that. mine doesn't seem to have any azura badge (or evidence of there ever being one) but a quick search on tinternet shows that most don't have a badge either tbh i'm not really sure what the azura means - mine seems pretty low spec Yes basic ,sat between L and GL - had alloys over them -but lost out on other items All K reg only -iirc Actually think there are 4 colours -another much lighter blue

I noticed this morning in heavy rain that it's just as easy to get the back out in this as it is in my MK1 Escort ;-)

I had a blue saloon with the same wheels. good reliable motor. The only problem I had was the red engine warning/oil light used to come on when I was driving in rain/puddles.Common fault i believe.

I can't afford to buy a set of new wheels but I have been given a set of 4 x 16" by 8" BK Racing 5 spoke alloys (with low profile tyres that seem to have life left in them) they will need refurbishing at some point though as they are kerbed and the laquer is peeling off in places. I tried them and they look better than I expected (certainly fit the 90s-ness of the car) but they aren't what I would have chosen. My other alternative is to keep the standard Ford 14" Azura alloys (which are almost perfect condition but will need two new tyres fairly soon) - what do you guys think? I have photoshopped the car lower btw as I can't afford to do that yet either.

Ah man, Always had a thing for these Sierras! My mum had a problem with her vectra so we got a cheap £200 deal on one with a bit of tax and MOT just to last until the vectra was fixed. Great motor though, Sold it on to a friend but it failed on mot with rust in the usual sierra places.. My neighbour has a really nice saloon version, its just a real tidy car Sorry about the partial thread jack.. haha

New wheels and slammage I'd say.

Sierras carry 90's wheels really well, i'd say go for the 16's until something else pops up. You'll also enjoy the improvement in handling But you might as well leave the stock ones on until it's lowered, otherwise it'll look quite sad :/ A set of used lowering springs and a angle grinder isn't expensive

actually looking at the picture (I didn't think to look or notice at the time) it looks like the offset is completely wrong anyway - decision might have been made for me. doesn't look like they will fit underthe arches (at the front at least)

Does anyone know how much shorter cossie 2wd front springs would be from standard sierra? I'm hoping for at least an inch and a half drop (or ideally 2) and have been offered a set

If that's the case I'd like to know too. My 40mm springs made curse word all difference. As for the alloys a little teasing of the front arch should have them sitting nicely with little worry
