it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Darren, I work in the Auto Recovery Industry, if we get in a Barina at some stage, you want me to keep any bits and pieces before I kill it? (cause I will kill it if given the chance) Edit: I can also help you out with some NZ plates too if you're interested, though they won't be of the newest variety, the older black backed ones wouldn't be appropriate in this instance but the white reflective backed ones with the first font used on them would be, which I would be able to get fairly easily.

YES YES! ;D Umm, I don't know what I'd need... Grille and tailgate badges I guess for a start! And the horn push off the middle of the steering wheel, can't think of anything else off hand that is obviously badged... If you can get some plates easy enough, then yeah! Let me know if you get one in please, and how much postage would be! Also, any kind of stickers that cars have to have over there, like the way we have those blue MOT ones... COOLNESS! ;D

Such is the awesome power of Galahad and Jagermeister, and whatever iRocco was drinking ;D Please don't dulge in to what I think of after 6 cans of Guinness! However I do remember someone mentioning reversing the steels......... If you're not going to reverse the steels then you'll need a set of wheel trims as well I know our hire Barina in NZ last year had a WOF (Warrant of fitness) certificate in the window, but not sure non-hire cars them stuck in the window....?

I'm not sure about wheel trims... I've seen Mk1 Golfs with steel wheels and bigger trims (IE 15" trims on 13" wheels) somehow made to fit... Maybe that's a possibility if I can work out how to do it ;D
I kind of like the black steelies though!

Sounds like you need to get hold of a nice set of 7x15 BMW Mini steels then

I know our hire Barina in NZ last year had a WOF (Warrant of fitness) certificate in the window, but not sure non-hire cars them stuck in the window....? Hire cars have CoFs, usually placed in the centre of the window. Commercial and Industrial vechiles get CoF's, your standard vehicle gets a WoF, (Certificate vs. Warrant) a Cert test is a little bit harder because. WoF's are placed on the top right corner of the window (looking out) and Registration tags are placed on the bottom left. Getting a WoF or CoF sticker might be pushing it though, they're a poo to get off a car and managing to convince a garage to give you one "for a guy in the UK" might not work
