Like the P100 i know want one again there is one in a scrap yard near me that is a tad bit bent the last owner put a ton of sand in it and went over the bad bridge near me very fast and bent the back ended now it sits there looking very sad but as a nice little polo and a mini for company. Trying running out of diesel in my Transit noting but a tow will get it going and at over 2ton its kind of hard to find someone who will tow it

yes mate, works overtime, one second it's full the next empty ect ect changed the sender when I changed to the diesel tank and still all over the place, I will change the dash soon as I find a diesel revcounter one but they are pretty rare ;D Heh heh, sound just like mine! There's nothing like the constant fear of running out of fuel (especially in a diesel!) to focus the mind on those long journeys, is there?! He he he yeh fun aint it i keep a gallon in the cab now, been caught out a few times ;D I can often be found in Lidil car park when there's a special offer on for cooking oil 89p a ltr last month, i bought 100 Ltrs ;D 50/50 doosil/oil and 2 stroke oil at a 50 to 1 mix and i can get 47mpg on a run on A roads and it's so much smoother, powerfull and quiet, honestly it's like driving with a more modern motor in there I love it and TBH the cab is bigger than the cortina P100 i had and at 6.4 and 19 stone i need all the space i can get ;D and this is one vehical that suits me playing hayseed dixie at full blast pickups and banjos just go together don't you think

Well not really an update cos for the last 9 monyhs all i've done is wotk it's 1 ton ass off ;D Yes that's half a lada Niva in there cut in half with just a club hammer and a BIG chisel old school lol of fooking hard as i call it Appart from the lNiva roof there is a folded up E type bonnet in there and a barrel load of Bently discs and drums from a classic restorer i clear for and pick up his used oil barrels for his burner. Appart from that it passed the MOT without a single advisery and i do beleive i topped up the oil once, back in novemver i think it was The hard top goes on in the winter, only takes 10 mins and 4 bolts though it can be a one man job 2 is easyer

Big thanks to Mikezed for supplying me with the brackets to get the nudgebar on ;D top chap that he is he wipped em off and posted to me straight away So after 3 hours or umming and arring we took the plunge and fitted the brackets, then removed em and fitted them the right way I like anyhoo just bought a pair of CB aerials from maccess for ,,,,, £2.25 each ;D brand new center loaded mag mount woth 3M cable, I do love their clearout offers gonna remove the magnets (i'll keep them back up for canal fishing) and mount them either to the ladder/light rack or the bar??? not decided yet That's not a kinetic recovery rope on the front it was holding the bar up while a sorted the bolts out ;D It's still need a few tweeks to make it equal both sides but half an houtr hanging off the nudge bar on me engine crain sorted the droop just got to tweak (ram a wall) the back swoop on the passenger side.

Ok so here is my £2.25 aerial form maccess ;D I bought 2 cos i like a decent pair and at that price i don't mind ripping em appart to loose the magmount part for solid mounting But where to fit them? stingray-esq style swooping back? obv a pair the same Single unit central on the ladder bar >? at least it maches the radio aerial on the roof (another maccess bargin, £2.99) ment for a golf or skoda i think that was ? Keep as intended as a mag mount that will probably fly off over 60MPH Or cheasyest of all mount the pair on the nudge bar and use as corner markers as well as an aerial ? Then it's top or bottom of the bar? cor you fit something and you think it's closed of an avenue of change but then you realise it opens up more and your never finished ;D

Well iwas expecting a "rob you are gay! stick it on the roof you gerbil felcher" but i seem to have some agreement on the bull bar so twin aerials on the bull bar it is, top or bottom? (the aerials not the gerbils ) My son recons i need more lights but i'm not sure ? i actually do use the roof ones and they are handy forward facing work lights for when i have to drag yet another scooter out of a ditch up epping forest at midnight, the local kids love to go up there and ,,, well crash it seems, i don't think they meen to they just do and i gets paid (sometimes) to go get em before thier pairent find out ;D and the rear i use when loading engines ect, which i do a lot of lately as a local restorer uses me to drop engines and boxes off to be rebuilt into London cos his truck is no longer LEZ compliant and mine is ;D

Trucks looking good mate Id say get a row of spotlights on the roof, that will finish it off nicely, and what about a orange flashing beacon? with the aerials, how about a big CB one? mounted on the back near the tail lights? or on the front nudge bar? Shame you had to get rid of the diesel tho, there brilliant engines and will go forever do you have a link to your diesel converted mk5 cortina or havent you done it? I'm looking at doing something similar if i get my hands on a mk5 estate

Nice job you've done there. There is a white P100 with what looks like a bloody caravan lobbed onto the back up here in sunny Edmonton. Seems like it's used for purpose locally as well.

Ken The bloke lives in it i think, it's allways parked around enfield in differant places on differant nighs but you will allways find it in a McDonalds iin the eve cos he uses thier web access Those aerials are for me CB, one fake one real ;D Whirlybird is a magmount and lives behind the seats as i tow quite a lot with the truck Lives there with me ammo boxes ;D one for tools and one for tow rope and tyre pump Fitted the rear speakers they are sort of blocked by the seats but there is no where else to put them not to muffled cos there are vents just above them at roughly ear height you can jsut see the vents under the torch
