For sale - Ford Fiesta Encore (1997), White, 3 Door Hatchback, 1.25 16V Zetec-S. Reliable little run about, ideal for a first car or someone who wants something cheap to run and insure. Good points: * Mechanically good, brilliant engine. * 40,000 Low mileage due to it being a spare family car. Has had most of its use in the last 5 years. * Has been looked after and serviced often. * Some jobs that were done on the car in late 2010: New cambelt kit as a safety measure, new fanbelt, tracking and all round new tires, air filter, new oil filter and oil change. * Cheap Tax, insurance and parts. * Economical. * Body work and interior has a bit of ware on it as you would expect from a car of this age but nothing to serious - no heavy rust. Bad Points: * Sunroof could do with a new seal. * Back windscreen wiper sometimes sticks a bit for the first couple minutes of use then starts to work fine. * Drivers seat locks into place but there is a bit of play. how much do you think then cortinadale? I think he meant,like I thought it was going to be the Mk5 version with the 1.6 zetec motor,usually found in imperial blue. I know yours says zetec s on the rocker cover but its simply a zetec hence the confusion. Price is fine to me but theres loads of messers on here,but its free so can`t really grumble!I`ve just put my corsa up for around the same and not a sniff,I think its gonna be Pistonheads/the bay for me. |

Its my mates motor yea its a good little car! ive got a audi a4 avant and a old shark nose bmw Nice,used to have a 528 auto myself back in 2002/3,was a superb car,quick and really good on petrol for an old car.had it for free as well,guy thought the box had gone as it wouldn't select any gears but it was just the autobox cable from the selector,cost £5.50 from BMW,took 1/2hr to fit!!! The guy was less than impressed when I turned up in work a week later with it!! |
