Ah if you have 220 hp @ flywheel then my sums are off. I found a dyno curve of a stock 4.0 V8 chimera putting out 270 hp@flywheel and my search of the engine specs confirmed that number.
This changes matters again.

The TVR 400 HC's (special order spec, stands for high comp or high lift cam depending on who you talk to) were supposed to have 270hp and the standard ones like mine around 240 but as usual with RV8's the real figures were somewhat short of the mark!
HC's were around 250bhp and standard 400's around 200bhp , the tweaks on mine should see about 220/230bhp but it's not been dynoe'd to confirm.
There's no Chimaera 400 with 270bhp that's anywhere near stock, most 500's didn’t better much more than 300bhp
The general consensus of opinion on PH is that a healthy 400 Chimaera with the Rotrex charger kit will give a standard 500 a fairly sound hiding..
