Year: 1999 Mileage: 57000 Tax: 31/08/11 MOT: 03/08/11 Pics: Location: Newhaven, East Sussex Price: £300 ONO Contact details: email - ninja.darren @ gmail.com (remove spaces) 1999 Nissan Almera, 1.4l petrol, 3 door hatchback, 57,000 miles. This is cheap, reliable motoring. This car is a little beat up looking these days but faultlessly reliable, it has never faltered and all the electric bits and bobs work perfectly. Internally everything is present and correct, electric windows, electric mirrors, headlight levelling adjuster, rear wash/wipe, airbag, air con, CD player, internal boot release/petrol flap release are all happily working. On the outside the poor old car has had a tough life, as you can see in the pics there are plenty of car park dings, knocks and scratches. It does have alloy wheels though. Taxed until 31/08/2011 MOTd until 03/08/2011 Full gallery of pics here: smg.photobucket.com/albums/v476/TheMiniKid/VariousPhotos/Almera/£300 ONO Contact me via my e-mail: ninja.darren @ gmail.com (remove spaces) If you have any questions, feel free to ask away below.

It's £300 with a reasonable MOT and tax, and low miles ffs... worth the full asking price all day long.

I know it is steve, but I know how skint my bro is, the saying goes 'if you don't ask, you don't get!' No-one cares how skint your brother is, to be blunt - it's irrelevant. Mentioning it as you did is the equivalent of putting a begging bowl out? Aside from all that, I've had it before when someone gives you a hard luck story so you take pity on them and let something perhaps go a bit cheaper than you would have otherwise done, only to see it up for sale again at a fair sized profit within a week or so! OP: Good luck with the sale - looks like a really good car for the full price.

I fully understand all you are saying Steve, but i actually know Darren, he is a friend and I was asking him a question, and just trying to give him a bit of info.
Can I ask if I have done something to offend you, as you seem to have got the hump, from just a few simple comments.
I have also seen people managed to pick up bargains, then flog them on for a profit, and it is annoying.
Anyway Daz, I will tell my bro what you said, but obviously if it sells in the meantime then thats cool too.

Really is, too - looks way tidier than my gf's Fiesta for £50 more than we paid (and promptly had to spend £50 on a battery!). If you were closer, I'd be seeing if she'd give a car a 'size up' from the Fiesta a go, but I am sure it'll be gone before anyone notices!

I'm still not sure if that's all that relevant given the context... Can I ask if I have done something to offend you, as you seem to have got the hump, from just a few simple comments. You've done nothing to offend me, I just happen to think that trying to knock someone down on something seemingly really good value and up for next to nothing is a bit cheeky... and to then mention a bit of misfortune? It just comes across as more than a bit cheeky and ever so slightly traveller, especially in this price range. I have also seen people managed to pick up bargains, then flog them on for a profit, and it is annoying. That in itself isn't annoying - it's when they've taken the urine out of the seller by way of screwing the price into the floor, and even worse when they've thrown in a hard luck story when negotiating.

OK Steve
I think I am gonna leave it here, as I don't think we need to ruin Daz's thread anymore.
Anyway Daz, can you pm me your number on BMC, so my bro can call ya!

It says OR NEAR OFFER so what has stevedx done wrong? Nothing!
The seller obviously has a lower figure in mind or he wouldn't put ONO would he!

By all means make a NEAR OFFER - he didn't do that though, did he. He asked what the bottom line was on the price and seemed to think his brothers misfortune was worth mentioning at the same time. <Mark and Lard Mode> 'No neeeeeeeeeeeeed' </MaL> 'I fookin' 'ate travellers'
