I bought her last year from a mate who ones a garage as my mini got stolen last year and needed a car as a quick replacement, until I got another one. One year on I have finally got one.
5 Doors
Phase 2
1.6 TU Engine, was probably the most popular as it was a good mix of power and economy
Electric Front Windows
Electric Sunroof, doesn't leak and works 100%
Power Steering
Height Adjustable Seat
Massive boot
Comes on 5 steelies, 4 with good tyres and one that is bald and has a slow leak.
Has had a lot of new electrics on the engine. I was told it has had a new coilpack, leads, ignition amp, idle control valve, and throttle position sensor.
new rear shoes and a really good handbrake.
Central Locking and a Deadlock.
Can come with a blaupunkt head unit with mp3 and bluetooth with handsfree
Can also come with a set of 17" alloys with 3 tyres, the reason its on steelies.
but I would like a little more for these
Bad bits.
Needs a new backbox
Lacquer starting to peel
previous owner has scrapped it 1 or 2 times, but not horrendously, ill try to show this in the pictures.
crack in front bumper which was has been cable tied together
Develops a misfire at low rpm when warm, I've been told it needs a new thermostat.
and fuel gauge is temperamental, although being a student i never know as there is hardly anything in the tank ever.
I think I've covered everything. I really loved this car, even with its problems, and if it doesn't sell I might try and keep it. Its mainly done motorway miles with me and doesn't miss a beat on them.
