I prefer the Series III cars, personally.
What I really want, though, is a late Sprint (the ones with the 33 front suspension and outboard discs) fitted with a 1.7 16v injection lump.
Can't really see the point in a 1.5i lump. If you're going to convert to an EFI engine, at least use a decent one.

Especially as it's a Fiero based one, probably have to restrict your racing to motorway duels with overloaded Escort diesel vans.

That 30 year old Toyota Corona 4 door..................  Is now mine ;D Just wafted her 150miles home no problem, will post some pics up tomorrow, goes quite well. The Auzzies manage to fit 1G-GTE twin turbo 6 pots into them as is in my Toyota Soarer ;D |

Box is fine just needs the cable adjusting so the box knows where the throttle is, drives really well otherwise. Proper sleeper potential this one  It's been waxoyled in the past pretty thoroughly but the exterior needs some fettling/respray though I'm tempted to leave it as it is & just shoehorn the 1G in it. I was amazed at how refined it is, very quiet, not too wooden in the steering at all, stops well, does'nt wallow about too much either. |
