Coming back to the no back seat issue, when i worked in a breakers a few years back we used to make good money selling back seats to a guy from sweden.
Apparently out there if you bought new car with no back seat it got classed as a van and therefore you paid a lower rate of tax. After ten years the rate of tax for cars dropped anyway so people used to put the back seats back in and use them as cars again.

Ahh, Bubz's Nash  He had plans for a re-vamp but has got distracted by medievel armour so sold it to another UKK member who only picked it up in June! He doesn't hold on to much for long though so thats not a reflection on the car. |

That model is FWD and doesn't have quite the mechanical robustness of older RWD models. They can rot too, in places where it's hidden away like damper mountings in rear arches. |
