Went and had a look at the Cherry coupe this afternoon, complete with the entire SL family. It drives lovely, tight as the proverbial gnat's chuff, and the bodywork is generally OK but there are numerous dinks and scrapes and rust in the arches, door bottoms and bootlid plus other areas. Looked clean underneath and in the engine bay though. For something with five days to go it's attracting a fair bit of interest, so I'm going to just sit tight and see what happens. He wasn't interested in taking an offer..... Ultimately I'd say it's not as good as the Starlet was, yet it's heading up to that price without the inherent RWD Japanese car value. Be interested to see if there are any other must-haves crop up now I've got the cash liberated from sale of yellow 240K this morning

To be honest I don't think that S12 is that bad, or maybe I should rephrase it. I think it has potential, at the minute it looks kind of like a baby bozu so just need following down that route, either that or just a single colour, current colours make it look like a celica supra.
Its easily the most expensive S12 I have seen for sale but he is getting bids, mechanically it seems good as well.

Pog - that 1500 - what condition is it in? A solid but unattractive one is only really worth 300 quid with T&T.... I might be interested if you're not tho? Could do with something to fettle. This is possibly what mine is going to look like.....my rear spoiler is nicer tho ;D cgi.ebay.co.uk/TRIUMPH-DOLOMITE-SPRINT-FAST-ROAD-RACE_W0QQitemZ190043293455QQ This was up last September, with holes through a couple of pistons, worth bearing in mind (had a pretty severe engine failure). Need some work before it came road-useable again, ditch those metal mounts and so on but you could get it there... Shame it doesn't have an MOT tho, god knows what might come up...am tempted but I think I'd rather build up my own - I suspect it's like my 1500, despite running and driving it could need a fair bit to get it up and running again. Interior's not been done at all well tho.....I don't know...tempted but not in equal amounts...
