Here for sale is my 1996 Jaguar XJ6 Executive. I haven't owned this car very long at all (January 2011). I bought this spur of the moment but now I have too many cars and rarely use this and think it's a waste of a good car.
It has just under 120,000 miles, can check the exactly mileage if wanted as chances are it won't go up by much between now and the sale as I have a Honda Accord, Toyota MR2 Turbo and a Porsche 944 Turbo to use.
The overall condition of the bodywork is pretty good for its age. No major rust to speak of. The rear arches have very slight bubbling which hasn't cracked the paint yet and is in no way shape or form bad. Has one or two stone chips on the front end which is to be expected. No dents. Slight marking on the rear bumper but nothing which detracts from the appearance of the car.
The wheels could do with a refurb if you are fussy but they never bothered me too much. They aren't bad, just if you are a perfectionist then you may want to do get them sorted. Tyres have life left in them although they may need changing soon. Can't remember if they do or not as I haven't driven the car for a month. Will check if anyone wants me to.
Engine and gearbox are strong. The 4 speed auto box engages all gears as it should. No nasty knocks, bangs or rattles from either the engine or box. The only thing it needs doing is a oil pressure sensor. This was faulty when I bought the car but have checked everything over and no fault with the actual car just the sensor. Seemingly a cheap and easy fix, just with cars and work, I haven't had the chance to sort this.
Needs a front bush doing on the offside as it rattles a little over bumps. It's been like this since I bought it and I did plan on fixing it, however other cars and work has taken priority.
Interior wise the car is brilliant. Definately the best part of the car. Full leather interior in near mint condition. No rips or tears just requires a good valet. If I get chance I will get this done. Only fault is the LCD clock, which once again was like this when I purchased the car and is a common fault on X300 XJ6's. Never bothered me, I have a watch and my phone screen for the time if I need it.
One thing to mention, this is far from a Prius! It's not the best on go go juice, but then you don't buy one of these in the hope of getting 50mpg!
Insurance is pretty cheap for a car like this and is a pleasure to drive. With a little time and loving would make a brilliant, excellent car. Sadly I just don't have the time to give it the loving and use it deserves. I've done less than 500 miles since buying it and can't justify paying to insure a car I don't use much.
More pictures available if wanted, just send me a message of the desired areas you want. Thanks for viewing, any comments welcome. Now for a few pictures.

I am not too far away from Durham and Newcastle train stations and Newcastle airport. I would be more than willing to collect anyone from these places with prior arrangement. Thanks again!
