Hi all.
Firstly - I don't get the whole anf/unf/npt/metric/imperial thing - confuses the hell out of me!
I am trying to install my pedal box. Its fitted with twin Wilwood mastercylinders. I assumed I could just hook brake lines directly to the cylinders using the stock unions.
However, I went to the motor factors earlier with the m/cylinders to get some unions to fit and the guy pointed out that the m/cylinder doesnt actually have a seat for a pipe flare to sit against - he thought an adaptor of sorts may be required.
so. read the instructions with the m/cylinders and got googling and have (i think) confirmed the following:
so. i found this: www.motorsport-tools.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=246691
which has a 1/8NPT on one end (to go into the m/cylinder) and a 3/8 x 24 UNF on the other end. its also a 90 degree bend which buys me a bit more space - always good!
so. my question is:
will this allow me to connect a standard solid pipe via a flare/union set up on 'normal' sizes?
any help appreciate, this is the last part I need and once I have it there's a real danger I could actually get to use the car!!
have a pic of my brake set up in anticipation of your help!!

- the m/cylinder outlet is 1/8 NPT.
- i therefore need something that is 1/8 NPT on one end with the ability to connect a standard solid brake pipe to the other end via a flare/union set up.
