I swear I posted a pic of that exact grey one in the 'best looking car' thread earlyer this evening!
I need one. Ever since pratical classics restored one while my dad was reading the magazine, early/mid ninties I guess, I have wanted one of these. I'll find the cash one day.

Bloketastic. And all you need is the (sometimes standart) sports exhaust to make it sound that way! Great cars, especially in a darker colour, and on steelies  I've driven a couple of cars from the 60's and 70's, and my old man's TR had by far the most direct steering, great gearbox too. Same for the way they handle, just make sure the steering wheel is straight when braking (the tail can get very light as most of the heavy bits are up front). As mentioned before in another thread: Accelerating from 10 to 100 mph in one gear ftw! |

10-100 in one gear, I assume thats in 3rd/overdrive? Where was that mentioned? COOL!

It was 4th/Overdrive actually I have to admit though, that the first part of the stunt was done on a slightly downhill stretch of road. 3rd should be the way to go if there's no slope nearby^^ Although the rpm might get a bit high at the end, even with overdrive. The powerband is basically like a modern Tubodiseasel, just without the lag, so no mo' go over 4000 rpm. Now please excuse me while I drool over this:  hmmmmmm ... Weber...  |
