As above really, does anybody have any recommendations for someone able to tune and setup the 350 Chevy that's in my pickup? Was apparently 'detuned' for road use and MPG, which seems to have involved messing with the cam timing... No nowt about these engines so would appreciate being pointed in the direction of a capable company.
Thanks!

Bargain.
I'm a little over 6ft and actually find them really comfortable to drive. As has been said, the tricky bit is getting in and out with the roof up!

This thread makes me strangely happy that we couldn't quite agree a deal for me to buy it - great to see it evolving like this, and it's going to be even more mega.

I need buckets as it's going to see track work - if it's a choice between a pair of low back classic vinyls or modern jobs it's an easy decision. I tried Ford Recaros but they looked out of place and crippled my knees without a serious amount of buggering about, the originals were knackered and these were cheap...

I've tried driving modern cars, but frankly a) I hate it, and b) it bores me. I've also tried using classics as dailies, but there's only so much fixing in a puddle I can take. The solution - an old car with modern running gear. I'll update with more details tomorrow when I'm killing time at work. Have this for now. 1600zE...

Sorry, for a moment then I thought I'd seen an MoT'd M5 for £1500.
Sheesh, this is too tempting...

I'm doing Middlesbrough to Cirencester next Friday (22nd) evening, which is the bulk of the journey done if that's of any use.
