Luke, our chairman of the VWDRC, ran one in competition last year. Bought it for next to nothing, sold off all the interior etc, gutted it, put a VR6 in it with a bottle of nitrous and ran a few events in the UK and Europe. Cheap motorsport until his "proper" drag car is finished! 36 Luke Stevenson - VW New Beetle Sechsbug - photo by Retro-MotoringI'm not as offended by them now as I used to be, the new ones look a lot better though. The difference is almost insignificant, but these are Remotec 6x10s. I'ven been runing this Mini Wheels Website for some years now, so I'ven been constantly on the lookout for unknown, to me, wheels. A very useful website, recently helped me ID some wheels I've had in the loft for about 20 years. BWA 6x10"s

I've had good results with biological washing powder. Sprinkle it on, dampen it down and leave it for a few days then rinse away.
