In a nutshell don't F with the pulleys, buy a better compressor with a higher intake flow. This old one is designed in this way so that the motor is sufficient to maintain long operating hours. The twin piston bits are designed to not exceed a certain rpm's, if you change the pulleys the revs will go up, and thats a big nono for twin piston compressors, their designed to do as low revs as possible to get the most pressure out of the two stages. What you can do is go from 50 liters to 25 or even smaller, that way the compressor keeps up. If you want it to do media blasting then throw it out of the window and buy a full continuous compressor.
All the compressors do 8 bar or more and its not important to know, whats important to now is how many liters of air does it takes in, for instance i have a 2 stage compressor that takes in 440 liters of air per minute, my spray-gun uses 250 to 280 liters of air per minute, so my compressor is up to the task, but needs 2 or more water/oil dividers to keep moisture to a minimum.
And the simpel math is : If it takes a compressor 10 minutes to fill a tank of 50 liters, then it wil take 25 minutes to fill a 100 liters and so on.

That's a great shame, but I understand your reasoning, I gave up racing around 13 years ago and have only now started to look through the cars I have from that time. I moved to a part of the country where the nearest circuit is a good couple of hours away so it wasn't practical to continue. What sort of price do you attach to the crawler and what sort of bodyshell did it have? don't know what to ask for it, make me a reasonable offer for it okay ? its 1:8 scale so don't know what body's you like, it weighs abt 3 kilo so p&p from the netherlands to UK will be added .

That looks awesome!, what is the running gear you have under it? It started his life as a Kyosho mad force, then i bought laser cut long chassis, upgraded with traxxas slash engine and controller, those are waterproof! heavy digital steering servo it does wheelies like mad on a 3s lipo, hence the wheelie bar, have 4 big sand-paddle tires to go with it, on the beach with the sand-paddles its a blast !. Cracked the body so i need a new one and couldn't decide witch one. have to quit the hobby because my wife is getting more and more invalid so the money is needed for other things now.

for the overall look put the steelies underneath, painted in High gloss black, with a very faint staggered orange/red looking rim stripe. Nice shiny hubcap and no blingrings. No need to put a ribbon on the thing ill take it as it is !

It is secured to the dolly/hand truck with straps, I did that right after taking the picture but thanks for the concern, it's a dangerous thing I know. On to the car show thread- right now it's on another board, I'll get it duplicated here late tonight. Thank you very much for taking me serious ! two thumbs up for the build !! P.S the reason i made the request into the topic and not on PM is that more people can benefit from this advice .!!

Can you do me a favor please? regarding to safety please secure the bottle onto the transportation device (don't know the name for it) with a strap or a chain, i have actually seen people killed by a bottle that fell over and where the tap broke off. Seeing the bottle like this brought back some nasty memories ireally didnt like to have anymore. Please be safe people ! , its always the little things that might hurt you big.
sorry for the rant !
