Bit of Advise/help from the greater community. Does anyone know if any other cars have the same Half/drive shaft spline pattern as the Nissan Skyline R33, as in the hubs i have.
Also as the inner door handles foul the cage i used a pair of door solenoids to open the doors but they're not up to opening the old type of doors, anyone know of another solution.

In the process of converting the final drive to R33 hubs. So i now need R33 (skyline) drive/half shafts and supra turbo Mk3 drive/half shafts (diff) Does anyone have any.

The door wont close due to the handles touching the roll cage. Looks like the handle s cant be moved as there's mp where for them to go. Answer to fit electric door poppers. Not what I wanted to do, more time lost working it all out and fitting them.

It's now grey only a few week late due to the arrival of the exhaust and the appearance of the a few rust holes. Well I say holes two out riggers and lower wheel arches. Hopefully that will be the end of the holes and welding.

Now it's red, well red oxide. opposed to the black which was nutrarust. Red show up the welding, bad welding. Tomorrow the seam sealer goes on the hide the lumps then the primer. So tomorrow hopefully it will be grey. The seats now fit but at the sacrifice of the transmission tunnel. So all the parts that went through the tunnel apart from the prop will have to be re-routed.

Why is it when you touch/drill metal in old cars it turns out to be anything but. Should have just replaced both floors. There's more repair patches than original floor, just hidden under paint. Load of wasted time.

The roll cage would have been the first thing I would have done to the Stag, if I had known then what i know now.
It isn't the strongest of cars with a fair bit of flex. The thinness of the "A" post with the added power increase the chassis would have twisted all over the place. The roll cage was the way forward. Both for safety and stiffness.
The cage is FIA MSA standard with ROPT 550 seamless steel. The seats are still in date and the 4 point harnesses are ready to fit. As for racing maybe, its already.

The OMP seats are tall and the Stag floor pan would not accommodate the seat or brackets. I had to cutout the floor to get the seats and brackets to fit. Its not complete as the pedal box has only just been mounted. A bit more welding and cutting to do. With the seat in its present position there is enough room not to hit my head might be different with a helmet.
The roll cage has stiffened the car up. Might put a few more tubes to the front suspension mounts.

Hope so but there's still loads to do.
The seats/floors still have to be welded in to place and the dash arranged around the roll cage. Hope to get in to it next week.
Most of it is just putting it all back together.

The first pedal box could not be made to fit so the new one turn up today. First mounting bracket made, still needs a bit of tweaking but its in well enough to get the seat located.

After what seems like years, well 15 months, the car along with the complete roll cage will hopefully be back tomorrow.
Does anyone have a pedal box spare as i need one. The roll cage has moved the seat inwards now the the pedals are offset to the right.

As the car still away motivation is low but i started to take ti gearbox off the engine to check all the torque setting and clearances.
I now need a set of 8 flywheel bolts as the last one were only 8.8 tensile strength i need 12.9. Thing is they need to be M10 1.25 thread (metric fine) and UHL of 30 to 35mm. Plus they have to have a low profile.
I have tried ARP but the only M10 1.25 they have are too short. To get some made are £45 a bolt. Looked in to getting some M12 1.25 machined down but would loose some strength. Allen head bolt are a bit too high at 10mm.
Anyone any ideas,

Still waiting for the car to came back, but sorting out a few things for its return. Sorted the rear brakes out got a great piece of kit for winding the calipers back. Pagid aren't Snapon but it worked, a lot less effort than the manual ones. Bargain at under £50.

Still not got the car back from having the cage fitted, 7 months. Best be worth the wait. Starting get impatient now the suns come out. Time for some roof down driving.
Still have loads to do. Should have done all the small bits while its been away but without the car staring me in the face each day theres been no motivation.
Have been told it will be definitely be back next week. Hope he means next week and not a next week.
